Pregnancy Diaries: My Favourite Baby Shops
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll have seen my many stories of baby deliveries that have been arriving. After all, when you’re in lockdown what else are you supposed to do except order cute baby clothes?
I always knew that babies would cost a lot of money, even before they arrived, but I never realised JUST how much stuff one tiny human could need. So essentials aside, I thought I’d share some of my favourite places that I’ve been shopping for baby clothes, furniture and those things that you don’t really need, but are nice to have…
THE LITTLE GREEN SHEEP*
I’d seen a lot of people talk highly of The Little Green Sheep, and I was immediately drawn to the fact that they use carefully selected natural and organic materials. I was actually very kindly gifted the Curved Wooden Baby Play Gym* and couldn’t resist the Safari Giraffe charm set for it’s neutral colours (and knew it would look lovely with the rocker I wanted).
Since it arrived, I’ve actually ordered their bedding in the Honey Rice and Linen Rice as I know they’ll go perfectly with our own bedding. And to complete the look, I picked up one of the Linen Rice Sleeping Bags. If only they did the bedding and sleeping bags in adult sizes too…

CHARLIE CRANE
There’s not one product on Charlie Crane’s website that I don’t think I’d want to buy. However still living in our one bed flat currently, we’re limited on what we actually need so we settled on just ordering the Baby Rocker Levo in Natural (for now anyway!), which has a super soft cushion. We’ve heard mixed stories about babies with some loving a rocker whilst others don’t want to be anywhere near it - but we’re hopeful that our little one will enjoy spending some time in there. I’m also a big fan of the Muka range which can see your child through up to six years - so is well worth the investment!
SNUZ
I think everyone and their nan talk about Snuz in some form, and we are now no exception. I’d been eyeing up one of their Bedside Cribs since we knew we were pregnant, so couldn’t believe it when we were kindly gifted the SnuzPod Bedside Crib in Natural* (I’m under no obligation to post this on here, however wanted to share it as we love it!). It’s a great size to fit alongside our bed and comes apart in such an easy way.
Snuz also do many other great products, and we’ve since ordered one of their Rainbow Sleeping Bags (apparently 2-3 sleeping bags are good to have for babies!) which looks just like how they describe it - snug!
INDEPENDENT CLOTHES SHOPS
My list could go on and on forever with this one, as it’s fair to say that this baby already has a better wardrobe than Tim and I combined! Personally I opted for more of the natural colours, rather than the traditional unisex grey. I love all the mustards, rust and earthy tones and whilst I can’t get away with wearing these colours - baby sure can! Here’s some of my favourite shops that I’ve been ordering clothes from:
ORGANIC ZOO - They can take all of my money to be quite honest, because every single one of their pieces and patterns are just beautiful. I think we’ve got about 3 sleepsuits, two tops and the Colours of the Moon set. LOVE
EDDIE & BEE - A small ethically produced UK brand, who do the sweetest fruit prints! I couldn’t resist their Lemon Grove Sleepsuit and now I can’t wait to put baby in it!
ELLIE & LION - If you’re after comfortable unisex pieces, then these are your people. I’ve got a few of their sleepsuits, ranging in sizes as I loved their patterns and can confirm that they are incredibly soft too!
MONSIEUR MINI - The first bit of baby clothing I bought was a Croissant Onesie and it’s still my favourite piece to this day. They have such lovely little things, and you can bet I now want the whole Croissant range!
ALEX & ALEXA - This is a huge site full of so many different brands. My favourites from the site include Hust & Claire, The Bonnie Mob and Mini Rodini (this brand is better for older children, so I cannot wait till they’re tottering around to wear those kinda clothes!)
LIEWOOD - Basically anything Liewood and I am sold. Towels, toys, shoes - you name it, I want it!
CLAUDE & CO - Designed and developed in the UK, and produced in Portugal - they have such a beautiful selection of clothing, toys and gifts.
ANDO STORES - Modern and stylish, this brand would literally make your child look the coolest by a long shot! I’ve picked up a few basics from here like their tops.
LITTLE WOODLANDS - Sleepwear heaven! Couldn’t resist the Sleepy Fox Sleepsuit (those yellow feet though), and think this might even be the ‘going home’ outfit…
THE LITTLE NATURAL CO - I did a huge order from here, which stocks a variety of brands (including Organic Zoo), and I love all their toys and baby essentials such as the Mushie Stacking Cups, which have definitely worked their way into our home!
There are so many other brands that I could mention, but I’ll leave it there for now. If you want to see updates on everything we’ve been buying for our baby, then you can check out my Instagram Highlights.
